Elder Bednar @ The MTC!
It's Me! Hi!
This last week was my last full week here at the mtc which is so crazy to think about! It's true that weeks at the mtc go by sooo fast but the days are so long. I've learned a lot this week with lots and lots of teaching practice on the plan of salvation, the Book of Mormon and the doctrine of christ!
We've been continuing our teaching appointment but now they're in person here at the mtc! We've continued our discussion about prayer but have also been talking a lot about Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost and The plan of salvation. We think they've been going good and only have one more appointment left before I leave the mtc!
On Tuesday Elder David A. Bednar and his wife came to the mtc and gave an amazing devotional about repentance! The spirit in that room was so strong and was definitely the highlight of my week! This devotional was broadcasted to all the other mission training centers around the world so it was such an amazing experience to be there in person! I was able to sing in the choir again which was so much fun! I loved it! and before he left he made us a heart with his hands and it was so wholesome :)
As a district we were able to attend the Provo temple again twice! I love going to the temple to do ordinances and the peace there is amazing and can change my whole day for the better!
This Thursday the 24th is the day I leave the mtc to go to Salt Lake by train ! I'm pretty excited and will let you know how that goes next Pday! Also mom sent me Crumbl! Love her!
Spiritual moment:
Some insights that I loved from Elder Bednar's devotional this week is that if you sincerely pray, ponder, study and learn about repentance your understanding mentally and physically of the repentance process will be full! Repentance results in peace, comfort, joy, renewal and spiritual joy! How amazing is that!
Love you all!
