I LOVE Being A Missionary!

good afternoon yall :))

this week was probably one of the least busiest but also busiest weeks of my life! me and my companion, sis heckert were sick monday-wednesday to the point where we had to stay home allllll day. it was sad that we had to reschedule all our lessons but it was nice to rest a bit since we are always on the go but by tuesday I was ready to get back out haha. thursday-sunday were crazzzzyy we had soo many lessons since we rescheduled most of them for those days. we also got 3 referalls which was super awesome! even though this week had its up and downs I was able to see so many miracles and blessings, God is most definitely aware of his children and helps us missionaries SO much especially when it comes to bringing others closer to christ which is something i didn't realize until I became a missionary! it's so amazing seeing our heavenly father work through us and to see the many many miracles we're able to witness each week!!!! These last few days we had so so many which i would like to share :)

♡ Our friend Teresa got baptized!! this was my first baptism as a missionary and it was amazing! the spirit was so strong! I'm so proud of her!
♡I met our friend Thomas for the first time and beforehand my companion warned me that he doesn't talk, or doesn't like talking to us, but GUESS WHAT he talked to us! YAY!
♡we put our friend Ashish back on date! He's going to be baptized this Saturday! We really hope nothing gets in the way this time because he is SO ready to be baptized and have the gospel of Jesus christ in his life!
♡Ayden's also being baptized this Saturday FOR SURE and we're SO excited! We were able to confirm her baptism program with her yesterday!
♡like I mentioned before we got 3 referalls! we were able to meet with one yesterday. Julio, who Is going through so much in his life right now came to our church yesterday to check it out and ask questions. We were able to teach him the restoration and he's excited to learn more! We did have to give him off to the ysa missionaries (missionaries for the young single adult peeps) though but we're still so excited to see the gospel transform his life!!
♡we went to visit our friend Teresa for a after baptism lesson and decided to ask her cousin if he is interested in learning more about the church and HE IS with the support from all the fam ! This was a miracle because of 1. How long it took Teresa to become baptized because she didn't have support and 2. Tristen only recently became interested after quite a while of visiting Teresa. We have our first lesson with him tonight!
♡we were able to have lots of our friends (aka investigators btw) come to church which was SO AWESOME. We're especially excited about our friend John who came to church since we've been trying forever to get him to come and he finally came and LOVED it!! We could tell he felt the spirit which of course made us very happy :,))
♡we also had a very spiritual lesson with our new friends flor + Hillary. Flor's husband who lives in Mexico recently got baptized and the missionaries who baptized him found out his wife lived here in Utah so when they came back from their missions they found her and referred her to us! We do have to give them to the Spanish missionaries but that experience was super powerful and the spirit was so strong.
♡ so many of our friends are interested in attending general conference which is super exciting and we're able to get tickets for all em !
♡ me + sis heckert got tested for covid and tested negative! Yay!

I love being able to experience these thing in my life right now and seeing God's hand in my life personally and through our friends is such a blessing to me .
being a missionary is such a testimony builder and I love it so much !!

Randoms:
-during a lesson I accidentally combined Lehi and Nephi's name to Lephi which was embarrassing but also hilarious, me and sis heckert were dying of laughter for a solid 5 min lol

Spiritual moment:
last week in our missionary follow up meeting President Spencer talked about miracles and how we as missionaries should be expecting miracles when we do these 4 things:
-be obedient, have faith, consecrate and love others + God!

This can apply to all of us in our day to day life. I know that God can can literally do anything for us as long as we work for it and have faith!!

2 Nephi 27: 23
For behold, I am God; and I am a God of miracles; and I will show unto the world that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and I work not among the children of men save it be according to their faith.
