4 Months!
hey hey everybody! it's now december how exciting!
this week went by pretty fast! we had quite a few lessons and was able to meet with one of our new friends that we met last week named Stephanie. We met with her twice this week for lessons and the spirit was SO strong. She has such a strong testimony of God and Jesus christ and that they're always watching over her! She also came to church on Sunday with her husband which was awesome and next Sunday she plans to attend with her whole family! Sunday we met with her again and taught about the importance of church, prayer and reading the scriptures and how that can help her in her life. Her daughter also joined that lesson and wants to learn more too! #newperson We put her on date for baptism for Dec 23! We're super excited to see her progress!
on wednesday we had exchanges with the hermanas! I stayed in my area with hermana jensen and we made lots of contacts as well as got some pretty humerous rejections. We had some awesome lessons too with tamara, tiara and raul and they were both pretty powerful especially raul's. he is literally so close to be able to be baptized we're very excited for him!
on thursday we did service we helped this guy tear down his fence and set up a new one. can check that one off the bucket list. on thursday we had a lesson with Jace, Jameson and cora. We met Cora last week and she is so sweet and she wanted to learn more but on Thursday we found out that's she actually moving by the end of the month to west Jordan which was so sad but we'll just have to refer her to the missionaries in that area. Jameson and Jace are progressing really well and will be baptized very soon! as for our other friends they're all doing pretty good too!
on Friday we had another role play workshop with the whole mission and did the plan of salvation. president called up two companionships to do a p.o.s roll play in front of the whole mission and it's a great opportunity for all of us to learn and improve in our teaching skills. after president told us that he almost called up sister lamphere and I to do one of them we told him thank you for not haha
this week one of our wards had their Christmas party and it was a lotta fun! they gave us lots of leftovers after which we were pretty grateful for as well!
on friday it was my 4 months as a missionary! it really does go by fast! I've already learned so much and experienced so much and im so excited for the next 15 months! (yes apparently I'm serving 19 but am so excited!)
randoms:
-so on Sunday as we were rushing out of the door to a lesson we locked the door behind us and went to the car only realizing that we locked our house keys and car keys in the house. big rip. luckily a member who was joining us was able to pick us up but we were soaked from the rain so that was a fun adventure
-to get more into the Christmas spirit I decided to make a tree for our apartment. I made it out of wrapping paper but have yet to decorate it, we'll probably do that tonight and I'll send a picture of it next week!

last night they had first presidency Christmas devotional and it was really good! I would just like to share some of my favorite quotes from that:
