Party Time x5

hey hey welcome back!


monday:

for our district activity we went to downtown slc to the planetarium, pretty fun, walked on Mars. We had a lesson with the Quinn boys and finilized everything for the baptism this next week. Jameson is super excited! Jace is still going to attend church a few more times before he's baptized 


tuesday:

made lots of contacts, weekly planned and had another lesson with the Quinn's. Also met with tristin and his aunt showed us her great grandpa's book of mormon from somwhere from the 1920s. 


wednesday:

we met with president and sister Spencer for transfer interviews which is always the best. They said there's like a 50/50 chance I won't stay in the area since I've been there for so long but I also might since it's doing good. Sis lamphere and I went to chick fil a for lunch then went out with Sister Huber and visited some of her neighbors. In the evening we decide to bike to some of our contacts to save on miles lemme just say I'm very grateful we gave a car


thursday:

we had a few meetings in the morning then we made lots of contacts in the afternoon, also why does no one answer the door on Thursdays!? the audacity. Had a lesson with Jamie, Paul and trisitin, they're awesome. And then a Christmas partyyyyy! Met Santa!! 


friday:

 was district council, the made lots of contacts. We had two lessons that day but both canceled :( but in the evening there was another Christmas party, met santa #2


saturday:

saturday morning we went to anotherrrr wards Christmas party. They had 3 stations about jesus's birth, ministry, and then reflections of his life, it was pretty neat. In the afternoon we knocked more doors and had a lesson with Lorena and Kaleb, they're awesome. In the evening another ward had their Christmas party and it was western themed, it was so cute and very creative. 


sunday:

 church! and then we had our stake missionary meeting where we updated all the ward mission leaders on their new friends or investigators they now have to look out for since all the ward bonderies changed. We ate dinner with the Holmstead family and they're awesome we talked about a lot of things I didn't know about like snow and star trek so I did learn a lots, in the evening we went and visited a elderly lady named joy, she is super sweet and funny with purple hair! 


spiritual moment:

we had pre zone conference this week where basically we just met on zoom for a hour to prep for zone conference coming up this next week. President Spencer shared a spiritual thought about d&c chapter 4. I love verse 2 & 3 

2Therefore, O ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength, that ye may stand blameless before God at the last day. 3 Therefore, if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work! 


we can all be missionaries!

Hey y'all! Happy late Thanksgiving! I started a email last week but never got the time to finish it so this week's email will cover the last 2 weeks.  Anyway, Im SO grateful for all of you and your support and im SO grateful to be a missionary and represent our Savior Jesus Christ everyday! Its truly been such a blessing!  Thanksgiving was a blast and something you should know is that my mission president, president Watson is very competitive and very athletic. He's done 5 iron man's. He crazy. SO on thanksgiving morning all the missionaries ran a 5k with President and his family. It was so cold, I've never ran in colder weather, but it was so fun! A Week Of Many Lasts ♡

HELLLLOOO FRIENDS! on a scale of 1-10 on how crazy this past week was I would say a 5. so that's pretty good. No car accidents this week. Hallelujah Ahhh but this week so many bittersweet things happened so let's begin!  So first. We went on pros exchanges! Keep in mind that Sister Reidhead was still recovering from her surgery and wasn't with us for a few days but even though Sister Faimanu is only in her first transfer she was totally willing to split for a bit to do exchanges. She's awesome! I went with Sister Howton in my area, we had a bunch of no answers but met a cool guy names Ray from Fiji. Even though his wife is a member and he had kids that went on missions AND has read the book of mormon he's still not a member. We testified of baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost and eternal families but man is stubborn and just refuses to progress even though he admitted to feeling the spirit multiple times as we were speaking so idk but he was nice though I had my ...

Miracle Upon Miracle

YO this week was literally filled with SO manyyy miracles it was so cool to see !  ♡ okay but shoutout to our bestie shalysa for letting us come over on pday! We made book of mormon box cover things and she made us lunch and mocktails. She's so sweet !  ♡ so this was no bueno but on wednesday sister bealer and tyler were super sick and could not go out at all howwwever we had some reallyyyy important lessons and a baptism interview that could not be canceled so luckily our AMAZING stl's came and picked me up so we could have those lessons! We ended up covering 3 stakes that day and boy was it crazy but amazing. So many miracles and spirit filled lessons happened that day :)  ♡ one of those lessons were with the holmes girls. so a little backstory they've been ready to be baptized for some time now but have been waiting for their dad to receive the priesthood. he got it last week so we were good to go!
