6 Months!

Hey guys !

This week wasn't very eventful compared to last week but here's a little run down

On Tuesday we visited a inactive lady names Patsy and were able to share a message with her. Her great (great?) granddaughter also lives with her and is obsessedddddd with snakes so I got to hold not one, not two, but THREE different types of snakes + a gecko

During weekly planning we decided to call some of our friends about meeting for lessons since they never answered our texts (the audacity). We're teaching these two girls, elementary age, so we called their mom asking for a time to meet and she said they're busy the whole week except for right now. So we didn't end up finishing weekly planning and ended up having a pretty fire lesson

That same day we also had Dallin's last after baptism lesson! Such an awesome family we will miss meeting with them every week.

We also had the Holmes girls last required lesson in order to be baptized which was super exciting ! They're super ready we're just trying to help their dad do everything he needs to to be able to receive the priesthood so he can baptize them :). Pray for brother Holmes please!

Wednesday was my 6th months as a missionary! SUPER CRAZYY it's gone by so fast ! Celebrated with brownies + a upside down 9 candle hehe

On Thursday we went a visited a sweet old couple who spend a lot of their time with their 3D printer. It was very cool actually and they gave us lots of cool toys on the way out (+ a mtn dew)

On Friday we had our last zone council of the transfer and went to chickfila for lunch. I also got an amazing box of sunshine from my auntie + some other family members ! It was so creative and I love it soooo much, especially on that very rainy day, literally! Thank you SO much! :)))

We also had a amazing lesson with our friend Fernando. We originally planned on teaching the plan of salvation but instead I felt prompted to completely change it up and we taught something completely different. The spirit was so strong and I think it's exactly what he needed. We also invited him to be baptized!! He said he'll think about it but we really think and hope  we'll be able to put him on date soon. His wife was also super supportive about it !

On Saturday I was able to watch my grandma's funeral service over zoom. Super grateful for technology. We were also blessed to be fed by some amazing members that day and got fed curry for lunch and chicken alfredo for dinner. Yumm

Sunday we went to church and went to a few sacrament meetings and then we had our stake correlation missionary meeting. We had another awesome meal and got fed lasagnaaa. Super good! We knocked on lots of doors for pros with not much luck but we're able to meet with some awesome members!

Spiritual moment:
This last week was still a bit rough for me but I really loved this verse I read in one of my personal studies

Alma 38:5 And now my son, Shiblon, I would that ye should remember, that as much as ye shall put your trust in God even so much ye shall be delivered out of your trials, and your troubles, and your afflictions, and ye shall be lifted up at the last day.

I lovvve this scripture. It gives us a promise. As we trust God during our trials we will be delivered and lifted up! How amazing!

Love y'all lots!

Sis laws :)
