7 Months!!
Yupp that's right 7 months
This week was SO busy it went by hecka fast here are the top things that happened this week->
♡Kalia and Nyah Holmes have been wanting to be baptized for monthsssss, we've just been waiting for their dad to be ready to receive the priesthood so he can baptize them but GUESS WHAT this week his bishop received a spiritual prompting in the middle of the night that he's ready now to receive it so on Sunday he was sustained and this week he'll get the priesthood so we're hoping to be able to baptize the girls soon! Yay!
♡Emmanuel and Peniel have been coming to church for 4 years with their parents and are not baptized (why did no one tell us?!) but we were able to get in contact with their mom and schedule a time to meet with her boys. We had their first lesson yesterday and were able to put them on date for baptism for March 16th!
♡ we got haircuts on Monday! Random, but thought you'd like to know
♡this week we met with Lelsy for the first time! She was found from a Facebook add and was meeting with the Spanish elders for a bit before they refered her to us since she prefers English. She's currently pregnant and is having her baby this week! She's trying to seek out the true church and we were able to have a great lesson with her on the book of mormon. Even though she is going through a lot she is still committed to meeting with us! Please pray for Lesly!
♡in the Utah missions we're only allowed to get fed from members on weekends and we got some amazing meals from some awesome members! That's always appreciated:))
♡a inactive member named shalysa reached out to this week asking if we could come by sometime to do the missionary discussions. We were able to meet with her on friday and she is literally our new best friend! She fed us dinner while we talked about our missions and she had some awesome stories from her mission, in Boston, MA. We decided to do little Come Follow Me or BOM discussion with her every week (since she obviously knows what we teach as missionaries) to help her the best we can to bring back her relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and in return we're going to make covers for our book of Mormons!
♡ We found out that there's this girl named destiny who attends church and activity days who is not baptized. We were able to meet with her this week and teach her The Gospel of Jesus Christ and she is SO smart she already knows so much and wants to be baptized!
♡I got to visit Sister Lamphere today! She's doing SO much better but please continue to pray for her
Spiritual moment:
1 Nephi 11:17
And I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things.
That's all folks ! Love y'all!
