Easter Week Highlights

GOOD MORNING !!!! It was a great week here's what happened ----->

♡Kalia and Nyah got baptized ! Yall know I love these girls so much and they got baptized on Saturday! I wasn't able to go since it wasn't my area anymore but I just know how excited they were!

♡ Went on Exchanges with Sister Evans and we had a great time! Since we cover 5 sets of sisters we're having exchanges every week which will be crazayyy but so fun

♡Easter Sunday was absolutely amazing and I'm so grateful that I'm able to serve during this time. We went to 3 sacramant meetings and they were all so good! We also had 2 member meals for both lunch and dinner and after that i was stuffed, we also made little Easter baskets for our sisters and dropped them off for them which was super fun and then we came home and found Easter baskets for us from the members who live upstairs! That was super sweet of them :,)

♡On Sunday we met with our friends Carly and Ariya and we taught them the gospel of Jesus christ and we invited them to be baptized on April 20th! And they accepted they also came to church which was a plus! We're super excited for them :)

♡This week we met Anna and she's pretty cool. We talked a lot about religion and our different beliefs, she seemed very strong in her faith but was willing to meet with us again so we will see how that goes

♡We also met with the Cardenas family for dinner on Saturday. They have a granddaughter who's not baptized who lives with them and told us that she actually wants to get in contact with us! She wasn't there so we got her number and set up a time to meet with her on Wednesday!

Randoms:

Spiritual Moment:
I'm so grateful for this week and the time that we have to really ponder on our Savior Jesus Christ and celebrate his ressurection! We had a Easter devotional with the mission and President Spencer shared this video from Elder Jeffery R. Holland. I loved this quote from him:

"One of the great consolations of this Easter season is that because Jesus walked such a long lonely path utterly alone we do not have to do so. This Easter week and always may we stand by Jesus Christ at all times and in all things and in all places that we may be in, even until dealth for surely that is how he stood by us when it was unto death and when he had to stand entirely and utterly alone. "

I encourage you to watch this video! Here's the link! and if the link doesnt work just google President Jeffrey R. Holland: The Savior’s ‘solitary journey’
