General Conference Wknd :)))
helloooo! what an exciting week !
Monday:
Pdayyy participated in a ping pong and spikeball tourny which was dope and then for pros we were finally able to meet with one of our recent converts Chris which was a miracleee ! had a great lesson with him!
Tuesday:
Literally spent 5 years calling evreyone (district leaders, zone leaders, and our sistas) but I'm gratefull for technology and that we're able to communicate with that, weekly planned, then for pros we made lots of contacts.
Wednesday:
Had exchanges with Sister kata who I lovvvvee she's the best! I went to her area, lakepoint, UT which was so fun we were able to meet some super cool people and we almost found 3 new friends to teach (but their mom said no :/ ) anywayyyyyy, it was such a good day and we saw so many miracles nontheless !
Thursday:
Went to the mission office for a new leadership meeting. We talked about baptism interviews and how we're supposed to approach different situations and how we need to help our friends prepare for their baptism interview as well, it was a good experience. We had a lesson with Anna, it was good and she's so nice but very set in her beliefs. Unfortunately, we had to set her to the side since we don't think she'll progress towards baptism. We spent some time making the action steps for the zone (goals to help us and missionaries improve) and they turned out really well!
Friday:
Started off strong with a awesome zone council, we gave a training on teaching when you find and talking to everyone. Then we had to go to the mission office for MLC (mission leadership council) and we were able to see all the other leadership in the mission which was so fun. For mlc we talked about what we could do to make our mission better, how we can help our friends keep commitments and feel the spirit and president spencer did a discussion on Jacob 5 which was very interesting. During pros we were able to find 3 new friends to teach and had a few lessons ! We also got a call from president Spencer telling us that he has general conference tickets for us! This was so exciting because we were really hoping to go but never got tickets!
Saturday:
General conference yayyy! The morning session was amazinggggg here's what I got out of it :
-it is SO important for us to pray everyday !! God hears our prayers !!
-we may not have a pillar of light experience like Joseph Smith did to grow our testimony but we can definitely have little ray of light experiences to build it until our testimony can be a pillar of light !
-no matter the outcome ALL will be well because of our temple covenants!
and for the Saturday afternoon session we were able to watch it in the conference center !
- true faith is always focused on the savior
-we must declare our testimonies of the Savior stronger and louder !
- when we focus on the savior we can find joy regardless of what we're going through
Sunday:
More general conference!! I love what our Prophet Russel M. Nelson said about the importance of priesthood keys and attending the temple regularly. He said that the temple is the "gateway to the greatest blessings" he also said "priesthood keys extend blessings to all covenant keeping people" !
I'm so grateful for the opportunity we had to hear words from our prophet and apostles this week! What a special blessing!
Sunday night we also got a text from a member saying that his niece just turned 18 and wants to be baptized ! We met her that night and put her on date to he baptized April 27th! We're so excited for maycee!
Spiritual moment:

Randoms:
-this week the Taylorsville, UT temple open house begins and me and my companion get to help out on the first day! I'm very excited:))
