"It's The Erda Way"

Another week come on gone 

Craziness

So a fun fact about the town of erda is that everyone knows evreyone anddd there's lots of erda pride. In fact, they were planning to build the Tooele Valley temple in erda but evreyone was against it because they didn't want the traffic and more people to move here. So they built it somewhere else. But anyway, evreyone is so kind to eachother and is seriously obsessed with their town in fact they have a designated day sometime in July to celebrate it so yeah it's just "the erda way" 

This week was very busy for us. For our pday activity we went to an escape room, this was the first time I've been to one and it was pretty fun. 

Tuesday we spent most of the day planning zone council, trainings and weekly planning. On Wednesday we went on Exchanges with the hermanas and hermana Moseley came to erda with me. It was so fun! We had some awesome lessons and contacts. We met a member who's a poet and she gave us some of her books which was super sweet of her and we saw the usual peacock here and there. At the end of the night we stopped by a gas station to use the restroom and a member LITERALLY made us buy snacks so she could pay for us (we came out of there with 2 bags more than we were planning on hehe) but it was super sweet and I got to try a new flavor of mtn dew hehe

On Wednesday we went on Exchanges with another set of sisters and i went to the Tooele West area with Sister brown! (My mtc comp) we forgot to grab the keys before the other sisters headed out so we biked most of the day which was actually really fun especially because the sun was out ! 

We also had some awesome lessons this week with our friends Carly and Ariya. We weren't quite sure If they were 100% going to be baptized this Saturday but they are and they're so ready!!! We only met them a few weeks ago and we've been able to see a huge difference in how the gospel has changed their life. We also met with Maycee a few times this week and she's still on track to be baptized on the 27th ! We met with some of our other friends and recent converts and everything is going well with them!

We were going to work the 1st day of the Temple open house last Saturday but we had to trade slots with some others sisters because of a conflict they had so we'll be working it this next Monday and the Monday after that ! Super duper excited ! Not sure how pday is going to work tho

Spiritual moment 

3 Nephi 11:10-11

10 Behold, I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world. 11 And behold, I am the light and the life of the world; and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the beginning.

I'm pretty sure I already shared this scripture but I wanted to share this new insight I learned this week. Notice how the first thing that Jesus Christ tells the people after being resurrected is that he is the one that atoned for them and that he obeyed and followed his father's will. That just shows us how important the atonement was and is still. It's amazing to see how this knowledge literally changes people's lives and I'm so grateful that I can be that one to share it :)))
