9 Months, Transfers, Baptisms + Temples!
Heyyyyyy ! Okay so it's been a minute
Last Monday we helped out at the temple again so I was not able to send out a weekly, apologies
buttttt
Lots of craziness has happened since then so let's get into it
☆ FIRST of all I hit my 9 months as a missionary which means I'm halfway ?!?! That's crazy. it's been awesome!
☆ Maycee got freakin baptized ahhhhh! incredible. I love her so much. This girl has been waiting since she was 8 years old to be baptized and she did it! The service was amazing and the spirit was so so strong. Tears were shed. The next day maycee also got her temple recommended and her recommended to receive her patriarchal blessings and then the following Monday she went to the temple! I am just SO grateful that I was able to witness it and be here during this time to help her :))
☆ We had a temple trip as a zone to the Jordan River temple and it was such a good experience. I love the temple so much!
☆Last week we met sydnee who is super sweet and we were able to have a lesson with her and the rest of her family who is awesome! We're excited to help them feel the spirit and come closer to Jesus christ and hopefully come back to church!
☆ We had a lesson set up with Mareya who is someone we found not too long ago, the lesson didn't end up necessarily happening because it wasn't a good time but the amazing member that came with us told her straight up the importance of baptism and receiving the holy ghost and she was down for it so we'll see what happens! We're meeting with her again tonight !
☆ Transfers happened again lol and everything stayed the exact same for us except we moved apartments to this crazy nice place (with a kitchen) so we're super blessed and gratefull!
also I just got a call from president Spencer that me and my companion have to give a training to all the zls and stls.....pls pray for me.
Spiritual moment♡
In come follow me this week we've been reading King Benjamin's sermon and he said this in Mosiah 4:11-12
11And again I say unto you as I have said before, that as ye have come to the knowledge of the glory of God, or if ye have known of his goodness and have tasted of his love, and have received a remission of your sins, which causeth such exceedingly great joy in your souls, even so I would that ye should remember, and always retain in remembrance, the greatness of God, and your own nothingness, and his goodness and long-suffering towards you, unworthy creatures, and humble yourselves even in the depths of humility, calling on the name of the Lord daily, and standing steadfastly in the faith of that which is to come, which was spoken by the mouth of the angel.
12 And behold, I say unto you that if ye do this ye shall always rejoice, and be filled with the love of God, and always retain a remission of your sins; and ye shall grow in the knowledge of the glory of him that created you, or in the knowledge of that which is just and true.
In these verses I love the keywords glory, love, joy, humility, and steadfast! I know that as we remember our Heavenly father and all that he's done for us and as we repent and pray daily to him we can feel his love and joy in our everyday life!
Love you all and so does God!
Sis laws :)
