GENNY

Top of the morning to you!

What a crazy, amazing, wild ride week!

Last monday we hiked the Tooele 'T'and that was so much fun! We may or may not have gone off-roading for probably a hour trying to out find out where the heck we're supposed to start the hike. And then we (meaning I) drove all the way up to the 'T' by accident, we then decided that probably wasn't where we were supposed to start.....and then on the way back down the mountain I accidentally left my phone on top of the truck so I almost ran over that BUT it's okay now. Good job little maverick truck.

It was Erda day this past Friday and Saturday and that was a lot of fun. I just love how much Erda loves Erda. Erda day consisted of Food, a variety show, a raffle, a parade, and a bunch of games + Erda merch! We also got to walk in the parade with the Batesville ward young woman's group and hand out Jesus pass along cards with our number on it so we're really hoping something comes from that! (Only 1 person said no to a Jesus card so that was a success in my book)and there was a float that was squirting out bubbles and we may have gotten a little cray cray with that haha

We met Emilia finally! We heard that there was someone in one of the wards who had a granddaughter that was not baptized and both her mom and dad wanted her to be baptized! It wasn't until this past week that we met Emilia and her dad! We had 2 lessons with her this past week and more to come! We asked her if she wanted to be baptized and she was like "YES I've been wanting to be baptized for YEARSSS" she's only 9 but is literally hilarious and so much fun. We're excited for her, and her family is very supportive and wants to get reactivated in the process! whoohooooo

We had our last zone council of the transfer and it was probably the best one yet! For the closing hymn we sang the new hymn Gethsemane and we were all crying, special moment for sure.

We had exchanges with the Hermanas and it was so much fun! I went to their area and learned a little Español in the process so that's a win! We also got to pick peaches and write on someone's missionary wall!

GENNY GOT BAPTIZED AHHHH we've been waiting for this for a few months now and it was a very special day for her. After her baptism her and her husband also sang 'Oh lord my Redeemer' and I'm not over exaggerating when I say evereyone was crying the spirit was so strong! I love her and am so proud of her ! :,) She's from America Somoan and I love their culture. So many people came to support her, they also had a feast after and a volleyball game!

Spiritual moment:
Helaman 5:12
And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.

LOVE YOU AND YOU AND YOU!!!
