HAPPY 4TH

Good morning and happy independence day! Last Monday we didn't have pday because today is our pday and we get it for all day! Today were going to a parade in Grantsville and then getting together with the zone to have a BBQ and play sports and things and tonight a member family is hosting a cute little bday party for me which was super sweet ! #20!

We had a couple lessons with Gracie this week and she's doing SO great! We've also been trying to involve her dad more too and the ward has been awesome with visiting and fellowshipping them! We also scheduled Genny's baptism interview for this Monday and got the program figured out. At her baptism she's going to sing and bear her testimony so we're very excited for that! We also met a boy named Granger a week ago, who was taught by missionaries in the past and is interested in meeting with us! He was found by a recent convert at the time and we were able to have a great lesson with him this week and his friend (the recent convert) was also able to join us!

Last Tuesday was a exciting day because that's the day that our new mission president and his wife arrived! The watsons!  We had a mini MLC (mission leadership council) where we got to meet them and introduce them to the mission! They're so awesome! The mission is excited! The next day they also came to the Tooele Valley to meet our zone and the missionaries that serve here! It was a lot of fun, we were able to get to know more about them and their family and they also gave us a each a box of goodies from their hometown Nashville, Tennessee!

This past week I went on 2 exchanges. I went to Lakepoint with Sister lamphere, who is one of my former companions so it was a lot of fun! And then for the second exchange Sister Jones came here to Erda! Both Exchanges were AWESOME and we saw so many miracles! We found 1 new person, put 2 friends on date, and found 3 potential new people!

Okay GUESS WHAT Maxx got baptized finally! So for those of you who don't remember I met maxx when I served in Magna East my 2nd transfer at church and we started teaching him! We put him on date for baptism for 2 weeks later and he was so ready! But then his dad said no and said he needed to read the whole book of mormon first. So maxx did. but then his dad said no again, and said he wasn't ready or was too young. ect. ect. but when he turned 18 he put himself on date to be baptized anyway and finally did! 8 months later! Regardless I was so excited for him and I was able to watch it through video call so that was super exciting!

On a less happy note this week we had to go visit some sisters and do a guided comp council and a device audit. It was not fun but we think and hope they're doing better.

We also did some service for some awesome members in this stake, the Hintons. We helped with lots of yard work and killings of black widows and grasshoppers. Ooo so fun !

Spiritual Moment♡
Ether 13:2
For behold, they rejected all the words of Ether; for he truly told them of all things, from the beginning of man; and that after the waters had receded from off the face of this land it became a choice land above all other lands, a chosen land of the Lord; wherefore the Lord would have that all men should serve him who dwell upon the face thereof.

PROUD TO LIVE ON THIS CHOICE LAND!

Remember that God loves you!!!

Sis laws :)
