Baptism, Temples, And Baby Showers!!!

HEY HEY!!!
SO much happened this week so hold on to your horses!

Monday♡
Pday! For pday we decided to go to this lake thing in Tooele to fish and while we were there it poured soooo much. We were soaked to say the least but it was fun. and then we played pickle ball in the pouring rain too. For pros we had a few lessons and contacts. We found out that one of the friends we found last week actually isn't interested anymore so that was :(

Tuesday♡
Weekly planning day! For pros we went on pros exchanges with Sisters Ioselani and Law and that was fun. Sister Law came to Erda with me and evreyone thought that was absolutely hilarious. Had back to back lessons the whole night but they were good!

Wednesday♡
Went on Exchanges with Sisters Hammack and Jones! I went to the Stansbury stakes with Sister Hammack and we had 0 planned lessons so we spent the whole day knocking doors and trying to find peeps to teach. We met some cool people and some not very nice people but overall it was a good day and we were able to accomplish most of our goals!

Thursday♡
ELDER BRIAN K. TAYLOR of the seventy came to the mission! (If you don't know who he is he gave a talk last general conference, you should listen to it)
We went to the other valley for his meeting that was from 9am-5pm! I learned so much from him it was amazing! We had a little leadership council with him first and then he met with the whole mission. He talked about the doctorine of christ a lot, temples the book of mormon,  and ways we could be better missionaries including some new ways we could find people! He has some awesome ideas and the whole meeting was so spiritual!

Friday♡
Started off the day strong with district council and then had a lesson with our friend Bella who said she wants to be baptized on August 31st! YAY. For pros we went on pros exchanges with the Hermanas. I went to their area with hermanas 'Alatini and Carrilo and we found a new friend to teach!

Saturday♡
CRAZY COOL FUN DAY.
first at 9am Gracie got baptized! It was an amazing service and she had so much support from the ward and her family. She's the only one in her family who's a member, she's a great example to them!
after that we went to the other valley because SISTER GRANT'S RECENT CONVERT GOT SEALED in the Taylorsville temple and we got permission to attend! That was a super special experience for sure! After that Genny, our recent convert had her baby shower and that was lots of fun too and then we had the adult session of stake conference that night.

during that session we got a text from our GOLDEN friend Bella who wants to be baptized so bad so she can attend the temple saying that she asked her mom if she could be baptized and her mom said she had to wait until she's 18. sad moment for sure but I know she'll be baptized one day!

After that we were a little discouraged but then a miracle happened! We decided to call evreyone letting them know about the time change for church tomorrow because of stake conference and we decided to call the Carreon family to let them know and they said they wanted to meet with us more consistently! YAY. So we set up a lesson this Tuesday which was a miracle because missionaries have been trying to meet with them for years! Truly God's timing!

Sunday♡
We has stake conference which was SO GOOD, it was focused a lot on temples especially because of the Desert Peak Utah temple which will be opening soon in this valley. We have a family were teaching which consists of recent converts and current friends that came to church FINALLY (it's been a struggle to get them to chruch) so that was awesome. The rest of the day filled with lessons and meetings.

Spiritual moment:
2 nephi 12:2
And it shall come to pass in the last days, when the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it.

I love this scripture and it's focus on temples. I was able to learn a lot about temples this week and being able to witness a sealing was also a sweet experience. Im so gratefull for temples and that we can go there to feel of God's love for us and make ordinances. Temples have definitely brought so much peace and comfort to my life!

Thanks for reading! LOVE YOU!
Sis laws :)
