11 NEW FRIENDS + MAKAYLA’S BAPTISM

Hey! Good Morning! 

This week we had our temple trip with the zone and attended the Taylorsville Temple, I loved my experience like usual. The temple is truly my favorite place on earth, even the temple grounds brings so much peace to my life! 

We met the Thulim's this week and had a great lesson with them about the gospel of Jesus christ. There's Gabi, Jackson and Chase and non of them are baptized but want to be so we set a date for October 12th! We're super excited for them! 

We got a referall from some elders who got it from their member about a marshallese guy names Aeto who seemed pretty elect. He lives in Midvale which is a bit of a drive but so worth it! We were able to meet him and teach him the importance of baptism! He wants to be baptized so we talked about how he could be ready to be baptized in October! He's down he just needs to marry his girlfriend who he's living with but he has the desire! He also mentioned how he wants to pay tithing which was awesommme lol. 

Okay, so since the beginning of the transfer we've been on a search for Benjay and her family. We got referred this family who wants to be baptized but we didn't have their address or anything. Finally we were able to find it and went on a long trek through a construction sight to find her apartment. We met benjay and a few of her kids and we were able to have a little lesson with them and we put them on date for October 5th! 

I had exchanges with Sister Yang! We went to her area, the Taylorsville North Central and Central stake and had a great day together! We didn't see too much success but we almost found 4 new friends for them but unfortunately their parents said no :( boo. BUT we both were able to accomplish our goals for the exchange so that was a blessing! I also learned so much from Sister Yang! She recently got baptized a few years ago when she was 23 with her sister. There wasn't much support from her family but their hearts have softened since she's been out on her mission! She's such a great example and has such a strong testimony! 

We went to Tooele for the Desert Peak temple training that they held for all the sister missionaries since we're helping out! We also got to go inside and have our own little private tour and the spirit was so strong! I'm super duper excited to help with the open house! 

Makayla got baptized! Makayla is amazing and had such a strong testimony! She loved her baptism and had such a great experience :)

Andddd WE SAW SO MANY MIRACLES + MET SO MANY PEOPLE = 11 NEW FRIENDS FOR US TO TEACH ! God is so good.

I love being a missionary, someone who gets to represent Jesus Christ and testify of him every day! I love being able to help him gather his children and help them grow their faith in christ!

Hey y'all! Happy late Thanksgiving! I started a email last week but never got the time to finish it so this week's email will cover the last 2 weeks.  Anyway, Im SO grateful for all of you and your support and im SO grateful to be a missionary and represent our Savior Jesus Christ everyday! Its truly been such a blessing!  Thanksgiving was a blast and something you should know is that my mission president, president Watson is very competitive and very athletic. He's done 5 iron man's. He crazy. SO on thanksgiving morning all the missionaries ran a 5k with President and his family. It was so cold, I've never ran in colder weather, but it was so fun! A Week Of Many Lasts ♡

HELLLLOOO FRIENDS! on a scale of 1-10 on how crazy this past week was I would say a 5. so that's pretty good. No car accidents this week. Hallelujah Ahhh but this week so many bittersweet things happened so let's begin!  So first. We went on pros exchanges! Keep in mind that Sister Reidhead was still recovering from her surgery and wasn't with us for a few days but even though Sister Faimanu is only in her first transfer she was totally willing to split for a bit to do exchanges. She's awesome! I went with Sister Howton in my area, we had a bunch of no answers but met a cool guy names Ray from Fiji. Even though his wife is a member and he had kids that went on missions AND has read the book of mormon he's still not a member. We testified of baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost and eternal families but man is stubborn and just refuses to progress even though he admitted to feeling the spirit multiple times as we were speaking so idk but he was nice though I had my ...

Miracle Upon Miracle

YO this week was literally filled with SO manyyy miracles it was so cool to see !  ♡ okay but shoutout to our bestie shalysa for letting us come over on pday! We made book of mormon box cover things and she made us lunch and mocktails. She's so sweet !  ♡ so this was no bueno but on wednesday sister bealer and tyler were super sick and could not go out at all howwwever we had some reallyyyy important lessons and a baptism interview that could not be canceled so luckily our AMAZING stl's came and picked me up so we could have those lessons! We ended up covering 3 stakes that day and boy was it crazy but amazing. So many miracles and spirit filled lessons happened that day :)  ♡ one of those lessons were with the holmes girls. so a little backstory they've been ready to be baptized for some time now but have been waiting for their dad to receive the priesthood. he got it last week so we were good to go!
