A Great Work!
Hey! Here's the weekly recap!
We had exchanges with Sister Cannel in the Heritage Park stake and we had a really good day together. Sister Cannel has only been out for 2 transfers but she is fire! However, we literally had to bike next to a freeway and cross it multiple times which was scary but then we'd pass the Taylorsville temple and that was nice.
We prepared a temple training this week for the sisters to prepare them to help with the Deseret Peak temple soon and it was so much fun! We incorporated lots of fun things to make it a little more exciting and it was also one of the sisters birthday so that was a lot of fun!
We met Elijah this week who was blessed as a baby but was never baptized when he was 8. We had an awesome lesson with him! He's a little wild child but lot's of fun and he wants to be baptized! Now we just have to figure out things with his mom since she might not let him but we're praying for a miracle!!
We also met Jace and it's kind of the same situation like Elijah. We met Jace with his grandpa! And Jace is so receptive so the gospel and wants to come to church! We hope that his dad will let him come to church and be baptized!
We heard from one of our bishops that there was a lady who attends church who has kids that want to be baptized. So we called her and we set up a lesson on wednesday with her 3 kids that want to be baptized! So actually 2 of them were already baptized by missionaries a few years ago BUT they didn't submit their records properly so basically bishop told us we have to re baptize them so that's exciting!
We got an awesome referall from a member about this guy whos been attending church and his wife isnt a member. We went to their house and we met his brother Angelo, his wife Julia and his mother in law Angelina. All 3 of them are not members and we taught the doctorine of baptism and set up another time to come back! We're excited for them!
Spiritual moment
Alma 26:3
3 Behold, I answer for you; for our brethren, the Lamanites, were in darkness, yea, even in the darkest abyss, but behold, how many of them are brought to behold the marvelous light of God! And this is the blessing which hath been bestowed upon us, that we have been made instruments in the hands of God to bring about this great work.
Together we can help others feel God's love and be instruments to "bring about this great work!"
GOD LOVES YOU!
