A Week In The Life Of A Missionary

Monday♡
Pday! Just played sports all day which was fun! For pros we hit up lots of contacts and taught some people but no one was too interested :/

Tuesday♡
Spent most of the day planning and calling all the sisters to check up on them. Went out to pros, checked up on a few of our friends and met with some members to get referalls.

Wednesday♡
Went on exchanges with the Magna E. (my baby area)  sisters. I stayed in the Tongan stake with Sister Snow. We met this one girl names Nightingale who we're super excited for! We were originally looking for someone else but she answered the door and we were able to teach her the doctorine of baptism and she wants to meet with us! She also wanted to read the Book of Mormon!

Thursday♡
We had transfers interviews with President Waston! After that we had to drop off some bikes to some sisters and then did some very late in the week, weekly planning. After that we went to go visit a referall we got. We met this mother and son who aren't baptized. The mom wasn't too interested but the son was and attend church with his grandma! He said he also wanted to be baptized! The mom said it was okay for us to come back and teach the son so that was exciting!

Friday♡
Went on exchanges with the sisters serving in the Hunter E. Stake. I went to that stake with Sister Latu. We had district council in the morning which was really good and then we went to find people! During dinner time we received a referal and the member who refered him to us called us right away asking if we received it. We contacted him immediately and set up a time to have a lesson! When we got to the lesson however we found out he was actually already baptized and everything so that was sad. He's been through a lot and recently got out of the hospital, he was a little crazy...but it was a good lesson overall.

Saturday♡
This day was spent mostly planning everything with the zone leaders. When a new month comes up there's lots to plan. We got lunch with them and the APs at this really good sushi place after that. For pros we made a few contacts and then attended the adult session of stake conference! So good!

Sunday♡
Stake conference day! Literally was so good! We had our mission president and his wife join us and the Taylorsville temple president and his wife. The whole conference was focused on temple covenants and staying on the covenant path. So spiritually filled! And we sang Folofola Mai 'a Sīsū which is my favorite tongan hymn (and the only one I know) so that was a tender mercy :)

Spiritual moment
Alma 29:9-10
9 I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy. 10 And behold, when I see many of my brethren truly penitent, and coming to the Lord their God, then is my soul filled with joy; then do I remember what the Lord has done for me, yea, even that he hath heard my prayer; yea, then do I remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me.

Have the bestestest week!
