West Is The Best!

Hey y'all! Happy late Thanksgiving! I started a email last week but never got the time to finish it so this week's email will cover the last 2 weeks.

Anyway, Im SO grateful for all of you and your support and im SO grateful to be a missionary and represent our Savior Jesus Christ everyday! Its truly been such a blessing!

Thanksgiving was a blast and something you should know is that my mission president, president Watson is very competitive and very athletic. He's done 5 iron man's. He crazy. SO on thanksgiving morning all the missionaries ran a 5k with President and his family. It was so cold, I've never ran in colder weather, but it was so fun! After that we went to a members home to have thankgiving with them! Super grateful for them!

Here's some amazing miracles that happened the last 2 weeks --->

Joshua and carson got baptized! Even though I transfered areas I got permission to attend their baptism and it was so good the spirit was so strong, they've been so prepared to accept the gospel!

We met Sage! She's been attending activies but hasn't had the chance to be baptized yet. Bishop told us about her and we went to visit her and she was interested in meeting with us! She wants to be baptized on December 21st!

Another of our bishops told us about a girl named Merica in the marsh ward. Merica recently moved from the Marshall Island with her family and all their records got transfered over except hers so bishop told us she needed to be baptized because they coudnt find it and so she could get her temple recommended. We met with her and she's excited to be baptized on December 7th!

Sebastian came to church one day at met the Spanish elders. The Spanish elders refered him to us and we've been teaching him ever since. He met with missionaries in the past and was super close to being baptized but never got to it I guess. Our first lesson we talked about it and he chose to set a baptism date for December 7th! He's had a rough life but has been seeing a change as he's been working toward coming to Christ!

Our friend Vanessa is basically the coolest. She's been meeting with the missionaries for a long time and had the desire to be baptized but something always got in the way but she is very determined to be baptized on December 14th and is going to try her best to do so! We're super excited for her!

Went on exchanges with the lovely Sister Howton from California. I went to her area and rode bikes in the cold cold weather but it was still a lot of fun and we got to talk to some cool people!

I also went on exchanges with Sister Ray from Texas! We saw so many miracles! I dont know if you remember our friend Summer, I talked about her a few transfers ago but while I was in another area she decided to finally get married to her boyfriend so she could get baptized! She also just had a baby so she's been recovering from that. We were able to have a lesson with her yesterday and we set the goal date for her to be baptized on December 21st! Ahh she's literally changed so much since I first met her, it's incredible what this gospel can do.

A member of the ward had been taking her neice to church named Tessa. Tessa was meeting with the missionaries at her aunts place in a different area but decided to start meeting with us since she wanted to be baptized in her stake. We met her yesterday and she's choosing to be baptized also on the 21st! She's so awesome!

I HIT 16 MONTHS AS A MISSIONARY! AHH

Little thanksgiving scripture for y'all

Alma 26:37
Happy Now my brethren, we see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God forever. Amen

DON'T FORGET TO BE GRATEFUL + COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS! love ya !!
