Look Unto Christ

Hello everyone!

Not too much happened this week. I went on a pros exchange with Sister Tebau and 2 24hr exchanges with Sister Jospeh and Sister Snow. All the exchanges went really well! We were able to find lots of success and meet with lots of people! When I was with Sister Snow we also did a blitz (where a bunch of missionaries work in one area for a short bit of time) and we found a new friend for the spanish missionaries! Her name was Zoey and I'm not sure how much she understood us but she said she wants to learn more about Christ and said we could come back! Someone also opened the door and yelled in our face so that was nice lol.

We had a fuego miracle! A week or so ago we got a call from a member telling us about her friend Nicole who's been living with her for a while. Nicole's been attending church and reading the book of mormon all on her own! We set up a time to meet with her and we were able to have an amazing lesson! Nicole is GOLDEN, we taught her the gospel of Jesus Christ and she took it allllll in. It was so cute, she was just nodding and smiling the whole time. We invited her to be baptized and she said YES! We set a goal date for Febuary 8th!

On exchanges the sisters met a new friend named Si, he attends a different church but said they could come back to teach him more. We met with him again yesterday and taught him the gospel of Jesus Christ. His brother (who was taught previously from the missionaries in California) was also there with his girlfriend who's a returned missionary. Si liked the discussion but still is very hesitant about it all but his brother was more willing and accepting so hopefully we'll be able to contiune to help them both progress towards baptism.

We also met Vince. He was also taught in the past by missionaries, got all of the lesson, passed his baptism interview but chose last minute to not be baptized. He's a nice kid but has a lot of interesting questions about a lot of things. He also attends a different church and is very set in that so we'll see what happens. It was a good lesson though!

Our friends Jaqualyn and Avery are both doing really good and are planning to be baptized this Saturday! We're so excited for them!
