Transfer #13 = The Final 6

Good Morning Friends! Happy New Year! I can't believe it's 2025, that's insane. 2024 seriously flew by.

Sorry I wrote a essay today but I hope you enjoy! :)

This past week was the last week of this transfer. This was a longer transfer, 7 weeks, because of the holidays,  but I loved every single second of it. I absolutely adore this area and my companion, Sister Reidhead, and OH MY we saw SO many miraclesss. It was amazing to witness and I feel so blessed that I was able to help so many souls enter into the waters of baptism and be able to help them know their Savior for themselves. I love it.

But alas the time has come. Transfer #13. This is it y'all. My final 6 weeks :( Yes, I still haven't come to terms with it quite yet but I know it's going to be an AMAZING transfer and I'm actually so excited. We got transfer news last night and here's whats happening

WE'RE HAVING A DAUGHTER! WHOHOO! Sister Reidhead and I are staying together, STLs still,  and training a new missionary! I'm actually so excited! I've been wanting to do this for LITERALLY 5EVER IT'S GONNA BE SO HYPE!

We're also staying in the Jordan North stake BUT the APs took our Marshallese area (the actual audacity) and we got their Somoan area. Which is 5 wards....in 5 different stakes. So now we cover 11 wards. Insane.

But anyway, enough of that. Here's a little rundow of the past week.

We met a new Marshallese friend named Crystal and taught her and her family before they headed out to run errands. Crystal said how she's been wanting to attend church and progress towards baptism, YAY! that was a exciting moment for us.

We had MLC (mission leadership council) and it was FUEGO I love being able to get together with the leadership of the mission to learn together and receive direction and insight on how we can contiune to grow our skills as missionaries and what we can do to help the missionaries in our zones. A member of the mission department was also there. I always learn SO SO much! This last MLC we received trainings on The invitation of baptism and confirmation and The power of having urgency to find. We also refelected on 2024 and how we can make 2025 the best year yet!! We're all super excited.

On Friday was also the last zone council of the transfer. We trained the missionaries on the trainings we receivved in MLC and had a spiritual discussion on the importance of leaving it all out on the field! (the mission field of course) and it was a really good council

We also went on a pros exchange this past week and I was able to be with Sister Bibb in her area. She's from South Africa and absolutly hilarous. I love her. We saw SO MANY miracles too! Together we found 4 new friends to teach! Sadly, 2 of them we refered to the spanish speaking missionaries and the other 2 ended up living in a different area so we refered them too. BUT it's okay because we still had great experiences with them and we were able to help them build their faith and that's a win in my books! There was also a lady we talked to who was out for a walk. We were able to testify to her of Gods love for her and the atonement of Jesus Christ. She was crying during this and she said it was no coicendence that we were out at the same time since she just received really terrible news and was going through a hard time. It was a tender miracle to have been able to meet her and talk to her.

This week we also found 2 other friends for the spanish speaking missionaries. We were out prosing in a apartment complex and met 2 different guys, at 2 different times,  who were out. Unfortunatly, high school spanish class didn't pull through but Sister Reidhead's muy pocito español did. Horay! We invited them to come to church and meet with the missionaries and they both sais yes without any hesitation! God is good!

spiritual moment♡
1 Nephi 16:29
And there was also written upon them a new writing, which was plain to be read, which did give us understanding concerning the ways of the Lord; and it was written and changed from time to time, according to the faith and diligence which we gave unto it. And thus we see that by small means the Lord can bring about great things.

During MLC President Watson used this scripture and he was explaining to us the importance of setting goals and making plans. Especially for the new year. He encouraged us to set goals and testified of how small efforts can bring great things, or small goals can bring big success into our lives. This is the perfect time to recommit our life to the Savior and to make goals to be a better, lifelong disciple of HIM! I encourage you all to consider what you can do to come closer to your Savior this year. I am doing the same. This year will and can be amazing as we make plans to achieve our goals and as we contiune to have our heart and mind set on our Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm excited to see what this year has in store for all of us :) 2025 HERE WE COME!

Love you all!

Sis Laws :)
