A Week Of Many Lasts ♡

HELLLLOOO FRIENDS! on a scale of 1-10 on how crazy this past week was I would say a 5. so that's pretty good. No car accidents this week. Hallelujah

Ahhh but this week so many bittersweet things happened so let's begin!

So first. We went on pros exchanges! Keep in mind that Sister Reidhead was still recovering from her surgery and wasn't with us for a few days but even though Sister Faimanu is only in her first transfer she was totally willing to split for a bit to do exchanges. She's awesome! I went with Sister Howton in my area, we had a bunch of no answers but met a cool guy names Ray from Fiji. Even though his wife is a member and he had kids that went on missions AND has read the book of mormon he's still not a member. We testified of baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost and eternal families but man is stubborn and just refuses to progress even though he admitted to feeling the spirit multiple times as we were speaking so idk but he was nice though

I had my last zone council AHHH and it was a really good one too. We had some good training and a great discussion on the having faith in your area! Love the Lehi zone!

sad news tho. We met with our friend Jenna who was on date for baptism February 22nd but her sister who is also her legal guardian said that she cannot be baptized that day because she's not ready. bruh no way wdym. None of it made sense and we tried to assure her that she was! We would'nt have invited her to be baptized in the first place if she wasn't ready but it's okay because I know she'll get baptized some day.

I had my very last MLC and it was such a good one! We talked about how baptism services can be great finding and teaching events if done right and also the importance of making goals and plans to accomplish the Lord’s work. We also made a goal that this March we would hit our baptism record as a mission #miraclemarch! So we talked about what we need to do to accomplish that! So excited for this mission! #westisthebest

A crazy miracle happened this past week! Y'all remember Alisea? I know I talked about her 5ever ago when I first got into this area. She was one of our friends that wanted to be baptized SO SO bad but coudnt because she was living with her boyfriend. It was a lot more complicated than that but on Friday I was just thinking about her wondering how she was doing when BOOM out of no where she calls us! Keep in mind I haven't heard from her in monthssss. She called us because she just moved and wanted to get in contact with the missionaries and her new ward so she can get back into attending church! YAY! She also told us that she doesn't live with her boyfriend anymore and asked if she could be baptized soon and we said yes since there was nothing holding her back anymore! The elders that she's meeting with put her on date for baptism on Febuary 22nd! YAY

The other day one of our bishops told us about this family that had kids that wanted to be baptized. We knocked on the door a few days ago and we met Anya and Alex! They're such cute kids! We taught them the gospel of Jesus Christ and invited them to be baptized on February 22nd and they said yes! They also talked about how they wanted to go to the temple to be sealed to their family so that was the cutest thing ever :,)

Summer got baptized this week! AHHH I have been talking about Summer forever and she finally decided to follow through on her baptism date and was so committed to being baptized on February 8th and she wassssss! It's always such a rewarding experience when you find someone who is iffy about baptism at first and then as you continue to meet with them they realize the importance of it a do it! Summer even got married in the process so she could be baptized! The difference we saw in her before she chose to be baptized up to now was drastic. We love her and are so excited to see where this takes her life. Her cute daughters were also blessed at her baptism service!

Nicole also got baptized!!! How exciting! She's someone that we met and put on date only for a few weeks out because of how prepared and ready she was to take this step and SHE DID ahhh she's awesome!!

and that's a wrap for this week my friends I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!!

Spiritual moment ♡
One of my favorite scripture passages is Mosiah 18: 8-11. I love the reaction of the people when they came to the knowledge of baptism and the blessings they could receive as they entered into that covenant.

8 And it came to pass that he said unto them: Behold, here are the waters of Mormon (for thus were they called) and now, as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God, and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light;

9 Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life—

10 Now I say unto you, if this be the desire of your hearts, what have you against being baptized in the name of the Lord, as a witness before him that ye have entered into a covenant with him, that ye will serve him and keep his commandments, that he may pour out his Spirit more abundantly upon you?

11 And now when the people had heard these words, they clapped their hands for joy, and exclaimed: This is the desire of our hearts.

They felt so much joy because of this knowledge! As we share our testimonies and the light of Christ with others we too can help people feel of the Joy that comes through this gospel. Being able to witness this has been one of my absolute favorite things about being a missionary!

Until next week!
