Grammy Paula ♡

Hello! I wanted to share my favorite memories and everything I've learned from Grammy! Enjoy!  Looking back, I am so grateful for the many opportunities I had in my life to grow memories and experiences with my grandma. We became close and I learned so much from her. She was very special to me and was one of my favorite people. Whenever someone asked me questions like “Who do you look up to the most?” or “Who's an example to you?” I always mentioned grandma.  Her musical and artistic skills were amazing and I'm so grateful that I was able to develop some of those skills from her and plan to continue to develop those skills after my mission for personal development and in memory and honor of her. My desire and commitment to learn the piano in my early years and throughout my youth sparked from her, she always pushed me to be better. She was very talented and was able to share those talents with others around her including church congregations, piano students, and of course, ...

God Is Good

I know I say this pretty much every week but it's because it's true. It's been a crazy week. On Monday one of the other sisters in our district did our nails and we had an amazing lesson with Mirari. She is so amazing. Last week we invited her to read 3 Nephi ch. 11 and she did! THREE times! We asked if she would want to be baptized and she said yes! We hope that she can be baptized soon because she is SO ready.  We have a few friends that we've been struggling to meet with, however this week we saw some amazing miracles and we're able to have 3 spontaneous lessons with those friends! -> 1.We were out prosing when we got a text from one of the mom's who's daughters were teaching asking If we could come by in 15 minutes. We zoomed over there and was able to have a fire lesson on the gospel of Jesus Christ, while occasionally being interrupted with giant hugs from their little brother (pic below)  2. That same day we were able to meet with Andy and Monica, ...

I ♡ To See The Temple

Image
Hiii  This week we were able to go to the temple as a zone and it was truly very needed. I absolutely lovvve going to the temple, it's probably one, If not my favorite places on earth. The Spirit is always so strong and the peace and comfort you feel there is something that is hard to find outside of temple so I'm super grateful for the opportunities we get to attend the temple !  After the temple we went out to eat with some other missionaries but we didn't have a ride home because we have #nocar so we called a billion people and finally after 40min someone was able to pick us up! Yay!  Tiara got baptized! Y'all she is the sweetest and smartest girl you'll ever meet. Plus she was wearing a 1989 t-shirt (iykyk) when we first met so of course we instantly became besties. So many people showed up to her baptism it was crazy! Some had to stand outside of the room because there was no more room but we were super grateful for all the support she received from family and ...

Winter Storm Craziness

Image
what's up!  This week was super crazy and I believe I experienced ALLL of the emotions. We had lots of snow storm warnings and storms following, I am super greatfull I'm not serving anywhere colder than here because I'm not sure I would survive haha everyone always laughs when they hear I'm from Southern New Mexico and follow with some sarcastic comment such as "oh so you're just loving this weather" hehe  We had lots of lessons planned this week which I was very excited about, however, at least 1/2 of them got canceled because of the weather or the sick bug going around. This was super frustrating but it wasn't really something we could prevent so I tried my best to stay positive about it  On the way to one of our lessons on Tuesday it started getting really windy them BOOM snow just came from no where. It was reaaly crazy and we had to walk in it, because HOWW would you expect me to bike in such crazy weather. It's a no from me.   But our members...
